On October 21st, at the Culinary Institute of America the Georgian Wine Association and Consulate General of Georgia in San Francisco with the support of USAID Agriculture Program organized an event “Georgian Wine and Food tour”.
 
The main aim of the event was to raise awareness about Georgian wine and vine culture and strengthen and increase the export to the US Market.
 
The noted wine author Paul Wagner held a presentation about Georgian wine culture and history. The attendees of the event could learn about the wine and grape diversity of Georgia, unique wine-making methods and the future perspectives of Georgian wine on the US market.
 
Internationally acclaimed Georgian Chef Guram Bagdoshvili presented the diversity of Georgian cuisine perfectly matched with a variety of wines from several Georgian regions.
