Georgian Wine Tasting in Germany
On September 20, 2023, with the support of the USAID Agricultural Program CNFA Georgia,
a Georgian wine tasting and gastronomic event was organized by the Georgian Wine Association in order to establish and
popularize Georgian wine on the German market.
The event was held in one of the most famous Michelin two-star restaurant “Tantris DNA” in Munich, Germany.
The executive chef of the restaurant, Benjamin Chmura, mixed Georgian wine with special dishes specially for this day.
The tasting was attended by Germany’s leading wine journalists, importers, Horeca representatives and sommeliers.
Within the framework of the event, 20 varieties of Georgian wines were tasted.
Georgian companies already present on the German market, as well as companies that are planning to
enter the market in the near future, participated in the presentation –
Georgian Wine and Spirits Company, Amoa, Ikalto Winery, Sagavereulo Marani, Tchotiashvili Vineyards,
Tbilvino, Teliani Valley, Tsinandli Vineyards, Chateau Mukhrani, Winery Khareba.
