Sixth International Qvevri Wine Symposium at The Merano Wine Festival 2021

The Sixth International Qvevri Wine Symposium was held in Merano, Italy, for the first time within the framework of the Merano Wine Festival initiated and organized by the Georgian Wine Association and supported by the National Wine Agency.

The event lasted for 3 days as part of the Merano International Wine Festival, which is one of the most unique exhibitions in the wine and culinary sector.

As part of the symposium, 2 professional tastings were held, attended by industry specialists, wine buyers, Horeca Group representatives and journalists.

The Qvevri wine symposium was held at the main theater of the city "Puccini". The Ambassador of Georgia, the President of the Festival Helmuth Kocher and the Executive Director of the Georgian Wine Association Tina Kezeli addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
